Educational awareness on Alcohol and Drug Abuse at St Patricks Sassoya Primary School

The Kubalia Tertiary Student Union (KTSU) conducted an Awareness on Alcohol and Substance Abuse at St. Patrick's Sassoya Primary School

The Kubalia Tertiary Student Union (KTSU) conducted an Awareness on Alcohol and Substance Abuse at St. Patrick's Sassoya Primary School to educate and empower students about the dangers of alcohol, drugs, and other harmful substances. The awareness was designed to help young learners understand the negative effects that substance abuse can have on their health, education, relationships, and future aspirations, while encouraging them to make responsible and healthy life choices from an early age.

During the awareness, KTSU members discussed the physical, mental, and social consequences of alcohol and substance abuse, emphasizing the importance of resisting peer pressure and avoiding behaviors that could place students at risk. The team also encouraged students to value education, develop positive attitudes, and surround themselves with good influences that will help them achieve their academic and personal goals. Through interactive discussions and practical examples, students were inspired to become responsible individuals who can make positive contributions to their families and communities.

This awareness forms part of the Kubalia Tertiary Student Union's ongoing commitment to promoting student well-being, character development, and quality education within the Kubalia District. By equipping students with knowledge about the dangers of alcohol and substance abuse, KTSU aims to help build a generation of informed, confident, and responsible young people who are prepared to make positive decisions for a brighter future.
