Educational Success and Tertiary Pathways Awareness Campaign at Kubalia Secondary School

The Kubalia Tertiary Student Union (KTSU) conducted an Educational Success and Tertiary Pathways Awareness Campaign at Kubalia Secondary School

The Kubalia Tertiary Student Union (KTSU) conducted an Educational Success and Tertiary Pathways Awareness Campaign at Kubalia Secondary School to inspire students to recognize the value of education and equip them with practical strategies for achieving strong academic results. The awareness was designed to help students understand that consistent effort, discipline, and determination are essential for securing admission into universities, colleges, and other tertiary institutions in Papua New Guinea.

During the awareness, KTSU members emphasized the importance of making education a top priority and encouraged students to set clear academic and career goals from an early stage. Students were guided on effective study habits, time management, examination preparation, and classroom participation to help them improve their performance and achieve higher grades. The team also explained how Grade Point Averages (GPAs), subject combinations, and overall academic achievement influence admission into various tertiary institutions and career pathways.

The awareness further encouraged students to remain focused on their studies, avoid negative influences, and develop positive attitudes that support lifelong learning. KTSU members shared practical advice and personal experiences to motivate students to believe in their abilities, work hard, and pursue excellence in all aspects of their education. Students were reminded that every assessment, examination, and learning opportunity contributes to building a successful future.

This awareness campaign reflects the Kubalia Tertiary Student Union's ongoing commitment to promoting educational excellence and empowering young people with the knowledge, skills, and motivation needed to succeed academically. Through initiatives such as this, KTSU continues to support students in making informed educational decisions and preparing for successful entry into tertiary institutions and meaningful careers.
